Refund policy
At EcoRideMT, we operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your purchases help fund our community safety programs and helmet donations. To ensure our funds continue to reach those in need, we have established the following policy.
1. 30-Day Return Window You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unused, unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
2. Restocking Fees & Cancellations
- ► Cancellations (Before Shipment): A 3.5% administrative fee will be deducted from your refund to cover non-refundable credit card processing fees.
- ► Returns (After Shipment): All e-bike returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee covering technical inspection, safety re-certification, and repackaging.
- ► Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for the cost of return freight on all returns.
3. How to Start a Return We offer a simple self-service portal:
- Log In: Click the profile icon in our menu and select "Request a Return."
- Verify: Enter your email to receive a six-digit verification code.
- Submit: Select your order and the items you wish to return.
You may also contact us at info@repedal.org. ⚠️ Do not ship items back to the manufacturer. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
4. Damages and Issues Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours at info@repedal.org.
5. Non-Returnable Items We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards, customized or personalized products, hazardous materials (including loose lithium batteries, flammable liquids, or gases), or perishable goods.
6. Exchanges Return the item you have, and once accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
7. European Union – 14-Day Cooling Off Period If merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. Your item must be unused, unworn, with tags, in original packaging, with proof of purchase.
8. Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the refund status. If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at info@repedal.org.
9. Chargebacks and Disputes If a product is subject to a financial dispute while in the customer's possession, no refund will be processed until the product is returned. If a chargeback is ruled in the customer's favor but the product is kept, EcoRideMT reserves the right to suspend the product's warranty indefinitely.
